Informierte Kommunikation über die Sprache hinaus
Der Studiengang Visuelle Kommunikationskunst bietet einen interdisziplinären Studiengang, der Bildende Kunst, Grafikdesign, Illustration und Fotografie sowie Kurse aus den Bereichen Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaften, Vergleichende Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaften, Filmwissenschaften und anderen Disziplinen umfasst. Er konzentriert sich auf Kommunikation und Kreativität als grundlegende Elemente des menschlichen Ausdrucks und ermutigt die Studierenden, kritisch über kreative Ausdrucksformen im Kontext von Kulturen, Ethnien, Rassen und Geschlechtern nachzudenken und diese zu überdenken. In diesem Studiengang konzentrieren sich die Studierenden auf die Bildenden Künste und können sich in einer Vielzahl von Medien ausdrücken.

Das Programm bereitet die Studierenden auf Einstiegspositionen in Museen, Galerien, Medien, Beratung und im Verlagswesen vor. Die Studierenden können sich auch für eine Karriere in den Bereichen bildende Kunst oder Design entscheiden oder weiterführende und spezialisierte Studiengänge in den Künsten absolvieren.

Stipendien und Finanzierung
Franklin University Switzerland offers merit scholarships to admitted students based on academic achievements in high school and/or transferable undergraduate work. All undergraduate applicants are considered for merit awards as part of the admissions process, which are awarded at the point of admission with priority given to students applying by the December 1 deadline. Additional need-based scholarships may be awarded on top of merit scholarships, depending on a student’s need. Merit scholarships are renewable for up to four years or eight semesters.
